Dog Aggression is Stressfull For Everyone
Dog aggression is very stressful for the animal and the owner. It puts the dog in a fearful, aggressive, panic, stressed, nervous state, and is always on guard and worried. Same goes for the owner as well; being stressed out because you can’t walk your dog near other dogs or humans and just enjoy a nice walk. This can also be true when taking your dog to the dog park, have other people and dogs over to your house, can’t go to normal doggy daycare (because the dog has to be separated and alone), and just can’t go anywhere because the both of you don’t feel safe, happy and relaxed. Of course the worse case scenario, there is a dog fight and someone gets bitten, then there can be lawsuits, fines, or your dog gets confiscated and may need to be put down because it’s now classed as ‘aggressive’, and can not be re-adopted.
On a positive note, dog to dog aggression can be cured or at least minimized to a manageable state, where the owner and dog are not out of control and dangerous. How this works is, you need to have a professional.
trainer in this field and with special behaviour modification, psychology, training for the dog, and special training equipment including a special rehabilitation dog to use with the aggressive dog. With time and patience this works very well to achieve great results.
Please note…. There are a lot of pop up classes and workshops for this all over the city, where they have a class full of these dogs. If you have a dog with dog to dog aggression, you do not put them in a room with other dogs that have this problem as well. That is ridiculous! What will happen is, it will take longer for the dog to overcome their problem, cost you more overall for training, maybe give the dog a traumatic experience, and it will never overcome this problem. It will be a very frustrating time and waste of money with all the dogs trying to harm or kill each other.
How this program works, is the same as my training program please click here, as dog to dog aggression gets incorporated into the training program with no extra cost or charges.
Major Fears & Phobias
Major fears and phobias are very distracting and upsetting to a dog, as well as the owner. As with Dog aggression, the dog is stressed out, worried, on guard and in a fearful state. It can be anything that scares or spooks a dog; food aggression, sibling aggression, water, cars, alarm clocks, to even a cucumber. Since dogs behave differently than humans, it’s very easy for a dog to have a traumatic experience related to something, making it harder to fix the problem because it’s now a negative experience that has been escalated, rather than just a fear. An example would be: if you had a dog that was never afraid of electrical cords, then one day walks over them and a back leg gets caught in the cords. The dog gets trapped and spooked, and now has a fear of cords. Now, every time the dog goes near them, he/she has fear and won’t want to walk over them or go near them anymore. It can happen with anything at anytime. As with dog to dog aggression, again, with time patience and practice, it can be cured or at least minimized to a manageable state. One-on-one training with a certified trainer (who has studied major fears and phobias, has special training equipment, and a behavioural and psychological rehabilitation training program) is the most direct method to address your dog’s issues and produces the most successful results.

GOOD Based on 60 reviews Brandy Hamilton16 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I live in Invermere and one of my friends was raving about canine united, so as soon as I was in the lower mainland I contacted them about my dog. He was so nice and helpful and gave me new tools to help me and my dogs. Now they are doing so much better. He knew I would not be able to come back to Vancouver for some more training. He told me that i could call or zoom anytime for free to help out, and I have and it's been extremely helpful. You can tell he loves dogs and loves his job. It's really nice to see great customer service. We don't get to see much of that anymore. As soon as I am back in the lower mainland I will be seeing him again Dawn Hoch13 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I wanted to get some training for my dog because i started noticing increased behavioural issues. Ryan was able to pick up on a few things I never even considered. He suggested getting lab work and xrays if I thought it could be pain related. He suggested this before dumping a ton of money on training, and low and behold my dog had many things come up in xrays that the vet said he's likely in a lot of pain. After just one training session my dog is already doing better. I look forward to more training sessions with Ryan and have hopes that things will continue to change for the better. Thank you Ryan!! I recently used the expertise of a dog trainer from Canine United Dog Services and I am so happy I did. I learned so much about how my dog, Chi reacts in certain situations. I learned about movement and how to teach my dog the best ways to avoid her reacting in ways that could be aggressive towards humans and other dogs. I have learned new skills as well that I'm sure will create an even better bond with my dog and I. I definitely recommend Canine United to those whom want to learn more about recall, reactive training and definitely knowing more about how and why your dog reacts in certain ways. I tested what I learned after and my dog Chi is already doing better! Tracy and Chi 🐾 Alice Turner7 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I love the private 1 on 1 training in my home way better than group classes. Ryan was amazing with my dog and our family. There were so many things in my home that were affecting my dogs behavior that I didn't realize. She is doing so much better now after the training. Thank you Ryan so much!!! :) Marleen Greeve4 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ryan is very caring, loves dogs and a great trainer. Currently this is the 2nd puppy Ryan has helped us with training and understanding. Having had several dogs in my life, all we had these many years were Obedience Classes. Well I am glad not to be going through that stressor anymore and the one-on-one instruction is far superior in my opinion.
