Canine United Dog Training does not use anything that is physically or mentally harmful to the animal(s) or the owner. The goal of Canine United is to have a healthy, happy, safe, working companion relationship where your dog understands you and what you want and expect, and for you to understand the dog and what it needs and is feeling and is trying to communicate to you. We also have to be fair and understanding to the dog as well. For what it needs for daily life and for it to have its genetics and personality. If we don’t, we are not being fair to the dog. If humans are rewarding behaviours, it is not the dog’s fault as well.
Now you have a trusted working relationship with your dog! It’s the best feeling in the world to be with a dog that you don’t worry about or get stressed by.

Imagine life with your dog
Going for a nice walk with no pulling, going after other dogs, people, or barking and just being out of control. Taking your dog to the dog park, sitting back relaxing, having a coffee, and watching your dog play nice with other dogs and not having any worries.
Taking your dog off leash at the park or beach and not have to worry about your dog running away, getting into trouble or not coming back when called. Being able to leave your dog home alone or in your backyard, instead of being in ‘doggy jail’ in a crate. Knowing that your dog is okay with being alone for a while, happy and roaming free in the yard or house, and not barking and driving your neighbours crazy, peeing all over the house, being destructive and feeling very stressed, anxious, panicky, frustrated and having separation anxiety.
It has to be terrible for the dog to feel that way all day every day, and it’s not fair or right. Unfortunately, this is quite common, so we get a new dog and some problems start arising.
We have trouble while walking the dog and get frustrated, so we don’t walk the dog as often, or not at all. We have trouble at dog parks, so we stop going. We have troubles in the home, with the dog jumping on people, eating human food, not listening and acting out of control etc. So, we get mad or frustrated and crate it or lock it in a room (which we should never even get to that point). This leads to additional behavioural problems because the dog is not exercised enough, not played with often, not mentally exercised, or they have less human and canine socialization.
It is a vicious circle that we fall into and it gets worse and worse. Especially with dog aggression & dog reactivity. If the Dog is reactive then we take the dog out less because it is a problem, Usually late at night or very early morning. Its hard to just drive in the car when your dog is having a meltdown. Same with the home, we have people over less and the dog usually is under strict rules. But those rules can’t be 100%, sooner or later the dog gets out of the car or home and a “incident” happens and then the Dog has bite or scared someone or someone’s dog. Its not the dog’s fault, we have not fixed the problem. These behavioral patterns often stem from underlying issues with canine behavior that require professional intervention to resolve properly.
EXCELLENT Based on 75 reviews Posted on Google Patricia BainTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found Canine United Professional Dog Services quite by accident, and I am so happy I did. My Georgia, is 5 1/2 years old and I have tried many different companies that did dog training. The first thing that jumped out at me was there is no contract, you simply book a training session and go on from there. Ryan is such a knowledgeable man. Georgia and I have learned so much more than we ever did at the other establishments. We have had 3 sessions so far with Ryan, from walking properly on a leash, her reactivity to other dogs and we are now working on the recall. Ryan explains why things happen and it all makes sense. I 100% recommend Ryan for dog training. So glad I found him, and Georgia loves him. I simply have to call, email or text Ryan is we run into any problems. Call Ryan, you will be glad you did. So impressed with Ryan and the wealth of information he has. I’ve had dogs all my life, but not one like Pepper and I learnt so much new info to build a better relationship with my Pepper. I thought before calling Ryan my issues with my high strung Aussie Doodle were not serious enough for a dog trainer. She’s not aggressive, just reactive and I could deal with it. But Ryan validated my concerns and seemed to know exactly what training Pepper and I (mostly) need to build a better life long connection. Thanks Ryan!! I’ll definitely be calling back for the next leg of learning.Posted on Google Vasilica WattsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ryan has been patient and friendly, explaining the psychology behind why helping the dog the way we were trying to may not work. We have had our three year old Texan rescue for about six months now and have used Ryan on and off to support in our home and with my in laws as well, since the first week we got him. We had a very scared rescue prior and wish we knew about Ryan back then. Working through his suggestions, we have seen huge improvements and are grateful.Posted on Google Elizabeth HaidTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. He got our puppy to trust him within 15 minutes of being here. He gave us some great tips that we will be putting to use asap. We definitely will be using Ryan in the future for any issues with twix. Thank you so much Ryan!!Posted on Google EmmanuelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I contacted Ryan upon an incident that made it clear I had already waited too long. Just after the first session, the difference in my dogs behaviour walking and around strangers improved dramatically. Since our first meeting, continually applying what Ryan told me, it has become so apparent how trainable my dog actually is despite my previous views due to my own mistakes/misunderstandings. Cannot recommend Ryan enough, I will continue with him even when I feel I’ve hit “ that point “ with my pups just to make sure my upkeep doesn’t slide. Trust Ryan, he is beyond friendly, a true dog lover at heart and more knowledgeable than google ( which is hard to accomplish considering the infinite amount of “ knowledge “ that google holds )Posted on Google Jessie KeithTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Oh my goodness, blessings to Canine United for helping us with our new 10 week old lab puppy! Ryan was absolutely fantastic and he taught us so much that we didn’t know! So much of what we were reading on the internet was leading us down the wrong path of training, specifically with nipping and biting. We were getting to a breaking point with the biting puppy phase and Ryan gave us the best advice and after only THREE days, our puppy is now so much better. A sincere thank you to Ryan and I’d recommend his services to anybody with a new puppy!Posted on Google AndrewTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can't recommend Canine United enough. Extremely professional and knowledgeable, helped nip all our puppies behavioral issues in the bud. Also teaches a lot of tips and tricks for everyday dog life. I always initial had some doubt how easy Ryan made corrections sound, but what he's able to show and teach seems like a miracle.
