Imagine...
Going for a nice walk with no pulling, going after other dogs, people, or barking and just being out of control. Taking your dog to the dog park, sitting back relaxing, having a coffee, and watching your dog play nice with other dogs and not having any worries.
Taking your dog off leash at the park or beach and not have to worry about your dog running away, getting into trouble or not coming back when called. Being able to leave your dog home alone or in your backyard, instead of being in ‘doggy jail’ in a crate. Knowing that your dog is okay with being alone for a while, happy and roaming free in the yard or house, and not barking and driving your neighbours crazy, peeing all over the house, being destructive and feeling very stressed, anxious, panicky, frustrated and having separation anxiety.
It has to be terrible for the dog to feel that way all day every day, and it’s not fair or right. Unfortunately, this is quite common, so we get a new dog and some problems start arising. We have trouble while walking the dog and get frustrated, so we don’t walk the dog as often, or not at all. We have trouble at dog parks, so we stop going. We have troubles in the home, with the dog jumping on people, eating human food, not listening and acting out of control etc. So we get mad or frustrated and crate it or lock it in a room (which we should never even get to that point). This leads to additional behaviour problems because the dog is not exercised enough, not played with often, not mentally exercised, or they have less human and canine socialization.
GOOD Based on 60 reviews Brandy Hamilton16 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I live in Invermere and one of my friends was raving about canine united, so as soon as I was in the lower mainland I contacted them about my dog. He was so nice and helpful and gave me new tools to help me and my dogs. Now they are doing so much better. He knew I would not be able to come back to Vancouver for some more training. He told me that i could call or zoom anytime for free to help out, and I have and it's been extremely helpful. You can tell he loves dogs and loves his job. It's really nice to see great customer service. We don't get to see much of that anymore. As soon as I am back in the lower mainland I will be seeing him again Dawn Hoch13 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I wanted to get some training for my dog because i started noticing increased behavioural issues. Ryan was able to pick up on a few things I never even considered. He suggested getting lab work and xrays if I thought it could be pain related. He suggested this before dumping a ton of money on training, and low and behold my dog had many things come up in xrays that the vet said he's likely in a lot of pain. After just one training session my dog is already doing better. I look forward to more training sessions with Ryan and have hopes that things will continue to change for the better. Thank you Ryan!! I recently used the expertise of a dog trainer from Canine United Dog Services and I am so happy I did. I learned so much about how my dog, Chi reacts in certain situations. I learned about movement and how to teach my dog the best ways to avoid her reacting in ways that could be aggressive towards humans and other dogs. I have learned new skills as well that I'm sure will create an even better bond with my dog and I. I definitely recommend Canine United to those whom want to learn more about recall, reactive training and definitely knowing more about how and why your dog reacts in certain ways. I tested what I learned after and my dog Chi is already doing better! Tracy and Chi 🐾 Alice Turner7 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I love the private 1 on 1 training in my home way better than group classes. Ryan was amazing with my dog and our family. There were so many things in my home that were affecting my dogs behavior that I didn't realize. She is doing so much better now after the training. Thank you Ryan so much!!! :) Marleen Greeve4 October 2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ryan is very caring, loves dogs and a great trainer. Currently this is the 2nd puppy Ryan has helped us with training and understanding. Having had several dogs in my life, all we had these many years were Obedience Classes. Well I am glad not to be going through that stressor anymore and the one-on-one instruction is far superior in my opinion.
