Canine United does not use anything that is physically or mentally harmful to the animal(s) or the owner. The goal of Canine United is to have a healthy, happy, safe, working companion relationship where your dog understands you and what you want and expect, and for you to understand the dog and what it needs and is feeling and is trying to communicate to you.

Now you have a trusted working relationship with your dog! It’s the best feeling in the world to be with a dog that you don’t worry about or get stressed.

Ryan Dog trainer

Ryan is a proud father and full-time Certified Dog Trainer that attended the International Academy Of Canine Trainers locally in Delta B.C, and graduated with an almost perfect grade of 98.6% overall.

Ryan has his level 1 and Level 2 Certified Dog training Diplomas and is listed as a Dog Behaviour Specialist.

Everything was in a classroom setting, local animal shelters, as well as in-home and on-site personal client environments, and included monitoring and assisting with Puppy Classes, Obedience Classes (levels 1, 2 and 3), Dog Agility, and Doggy Daycare, Rescue centers.

Absolutely nothing was online, and the International Academy of Canine Trainers is a fully registered institution with the BC Ministry of Advanced Education.

Ryan is very involved in continuing his own education, keeping up-to-date, and furthering everyone’s knowledge in the field.

Imagine...

Going for a nice walk with no pulling, going after other dogs, people, or barking and just being out of control. Taking your dog to the dog park, sitting back relaxing, having a coffee, and watching your dog play nice with other dogs and not having any worries.

Taking your dog off leash at the park or beach and not have to worry about your dog running away, getting into trouble or not coming back when called. Being able to leave your dog home alone or in your backyard, instead of being in ‘doggy jail’ in a crate. Knowing that your dog is okay with being alone for a while, happy and roaming free in the yard or house, and not barking and driving your neighbours crazy, peeing all over the house, being destructive and feeling very stressed, anxious, panicky, frustrated and having separation anxiety.

It has to be terrible for the dog to feel that way all day every day, and it’s not fair or right. Unfortunately, this is quite common, so we get a new dog and some problems start arising. We have trouble while walking the dog and get frustrated, so we don’t walk the dog as often, or not at all. We have trouble at dog parks, so we stop going. We have troubles in the home, with the dog jumping on people, eating human food, not listening and acting out of control etc. So we get mad or frustrated and crate it or lock it in a room (which we should never even get to that point). This leads to additional behaviour problems because the dog is not exercised enough, not played with often, not mentally exercised, or they have less human and canine socialization.
